On Thursday 23rd February 2017, Storm Doris hit the East Anglian Coast and unfortunately, Nowton Court lost some its beautiful tree’s. Nowton Court was without power for 37 hours until the HQ Networks delivered a hugh 23ft long generator!.
All of our resident’s were kept warm, safe and comfortable during this difficult time and the magnificent staff went ‘beyond the call of duty’ to make sure that everyone was provided for. Hot meals were served thorough out the period with many cups of tea. The Red Cross were on call offering lovely warm blankets and torches.
The staff were unbelievable and showed superb teamwork in a crisis. – Well Done Everyone!!
